The sadness of the loss will always be there, but it doesn't dominate my life anymore

“Before the series of classes with Marla, my grief was a big, heavy boulder that I carried with me everywhere. I could put it down sometimes, but it was always there waiting for me to pick it up. Since the class, I don't have the boulder anymore. It is such a relief; I feel so much lighter. The sadness of the loss will always be there, but it doesn't dominate my life anymore.”
